Although there are less people living in the local area, this will also mean that they are more likely to socialise together, hence the importance of the local village pub or summer fete.
The countryside is a good environment for children to grow up in. They will be healthier and more active, being able to play outdoors, roaming the woods and fields, not stuck in front of the latest video game. It is statistically safer to live in the countryside with much less crime in rural areas. Statistics show that crime rates are half of what they are in the cities.
When it comes to cost, the most expensive coastal wards have higher average sales prices than their inland equivalents, although this is sometimes be affected by the commuter routes.
